NEWS: ANU Sport teamed up with ANUSA and ANU Thrive to help support students in the mental health space.
ANU Sport in collaboration with ANUSA and ANU Thrive have been running some events during mental health month, with the intention to try and get students physically active and educating them on the mental health benefits of exercise.
High Intensity Interval sessions (HIIT)
HIIT sessions ran on two beautiful mornings on willows oval. Participants were treated to some one on one personal training, with our amazing trainer Nikola.
Step-tober is a step competition run over the whole month of October to promote getting out and getting daily steps up. Each week the person with the most steps wins a prize pack. At the end of the month the person/ team with the most steps can win a major prize. You can join in at any time-so get stepping and send in your results!
Less stresstival is coming up in preparation for exams-keep your eye out for events that are coming up soon:
-Free yoga sessions on the 29th of October, 2nd of November and 4th of October.
-Social sport pick up games Tuesday 3rd of November.
