Social Sport Registration - Semester 2 2026

Due to the social nature of these competitions ALL TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN REFEREE OR UMPIRE, this may be a substitute. This is only applicable for sports that require umpiring. Sports like 3x3 Basketball, social soccer and pickleball are self-refereed. 

- It is expected that each team will officiate half of the game i.e., a representative from Team 1 umpires the first half and a representative from Team 2 umpires the second half.

This is a social competition.

- The referee and/or umpire must use their own discretion regarding team ability and knowledge of the game when making calls.

- Decisions must be made in a fair and consistent manner with player safety at the forefront.

⚽ 6-A-SIDE SOCCER COMPETITION – SEMESTER 2, 2026 (SOLD OUT)

Duration: 10 weeks (6 weeks of round games plus 2 weeks of finals)

Dates: Weekly games from Week 2 to Week 12, excluding 7th & 14th September and Labour Day (5th Octoberl)

Semester 2 Dates: Monday, 3rd August – Monday, 26th October 2026 

Competition Dates (Mondays): (3/8, 10/8, 17/8, 24/8, 31/8, 21/9, 28/9, 12/10, 19/10, 26/10)

Location: Willows Oval

Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Games will run for 40 minutes; two time slots may be used depending on registration numbers)

Cost:

• Student Individual: $7.50

• Non-Student Individual: $30

• Student Team: $50

• Non-Student Team: $200

 🏀3x3 Basketball– SEMESTER 2, 2026

Duration: 9 weeks (7 weeks of round games plus 2 weeks of finals)

Dates: Weekly games from Week 2 to Week 12, excluding - 8th & 15th September, 29th & 6th October

Semester 2 Dates: Tuesday, 4th August – Tuesday, 27th October 2026 

Competition Dates (Tuesdays): (4/8, 11/8, 18/8, 25/8, 1/9, 22/9, 13/10, 20/10 27/10)

Location: Old Hall / New Hall

Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Games will run for 20minutes; two time slots may be used depending on registration numbers)

Cost:

• Student Individual: $7.50

• Non-Student Individual: $30

• Student Team: $25

• Non-Student Team: $100

🏓 PICKLEBALL – SEMESTER 2, 2026 (SOLD  OUT)

Pickleball will run as a round robin competition from week 2 to week 12 of Semester 2 on Thursday lunchtimes. excluding - 10th & 17th September, 1st & 8th October

Where: Old Hall / New Hall, ANU Sport
When: Thursdays (Week 2 to Week 12)
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Competition Dates (Thursday): (6/8, 13/8, 20/8, 27/8, 3/9, 24/9, 15/10, 22/10, 29/10)

Format: Round robin match play. Players will stay with the same doubles partner for the duration of the tournament. 

• Student Individual: $7.50

• Student Doubles Entry: $15 (for the pair)

• Non-ANU individual: $30

• Non-Student Team: $60
