Caitlin Weaver

NOMINEE STATEMENT

As a current ANU student and active participant in university sport, I am motivated to help ensure ANU Sport remains a welcoming, accessible and high-value part of campus life for all students, staff and the wider community. Sport has a unique ability to build connection, wellbeing and belonging across diverse groups. I would value the opportunity to contribute a strong student perspective to Board decisions, particularly around increasing participation beyond existing sporting cohorts, improving awareness of opportunities, and ensuring programs, facilities and services meet the evolving needs of the broader ANU and wider community, while supporting long-term sustainability.

Tom Carlisle

NOMINEE STATEMENT

My motivation to join the board of ANU Sport comes from the standpoint of student representation and in particular on-campus student representation. I hope to be an advocate and a voice for these individuals and ensure that their needs and issues are dealt with appropriately. Additionally, I aim to further the goals of ANU Sport so more people engage with the provided programs.

Charlotte FitzSimons

NOMINEE STATEMENT

I'm running for a position on the ANU Sport Board to ensure student voices are meaningfully represented in strategic decision-making. I have been involved in multiple programs, as a participant in interhall sport, social sport, clubs, and as a staff member - all of which have provided me with perspectives on what it takes to make ANU Sport thrive. I want to contribute at a Board level to ensure programs, facilities, and decisions reflect the needs of the students they serve. I'll bring both lived student experience and practical insight to ensure ANU Sport continues to deliver for its community.

AGM scheduled 28th of May at Yukeembruk Village Hall
