Monique Manning

My experience on the ANU Sport Board and subcommittees over the last 2 years has been invaluable. The skills and experience I have gained have been paramount to my studies and understanding of how a Board operates. I’m hopeful to continue my tenure and make meaningful contributions. As a student, I am able to provide insights and suggestions to the Board from a critical perspective, given ANU Sport's primary stakeholder- students.  

I’m drawn to re-nominate for the Board because of my passion for fostering an inclusive sports community, and my developed understanding of how strategic decisions contribute to this.  

I appreciate that learning how the Board operates and the history of strategic decisions takes time. The current Board has reached a pivotal point, regarding the direction and future of ANU Sport. I recognise that continuity of the Board means that we can seamlessly see these decisions through to completion. It has been a privilege to be involved in the decision making process and I would love to see them through.  

I am grateful for the guidance I’ve had throughout my term and feel that I have the energy and commitment to contribute further.
