There’s no better way to integrate yourself into student life then by joining in with some social sporting activities. 

We all know that staying fit and active can be a challenge, especially when you may be new to the area and settling into a new environment, often away from home for the first time. 

Well, did you know that there’s a terrific way to get fitter and make new friends at the same time with our Social Sport offerings? 

ANU Sport organises multiple social sport competitions throughout the year, for students, staff, and members of the community. For example, how about trying our lunchtime sport? 

Now in its 30th year ANU Sport’s Lunchtime Sport Competition is back on the agenda in 2020 and, with a different sport offered each lunchtime, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with a team of friends!

Playing in mixed teams, over an eight-week competition period, Lunchtime Sport is a great way to integrate fitness and recreation into your busy day, and to stay social with a group of friends. 

We have a wide-ranging array of sports including, Futsal, Badminton, Touch Football, 6-a-side Football or the ultimate Tri-Sport challenge, where you can participate in Dodgeball, Volleyball and Ultimate Disc. 

Lunchtime Sport is a great way to integrate fitness and recreation into your busy day, and to stay social with a group of friends, something which has proved popular with ANU students ever since its inception back in 1991.
