Eye on Group Fitness: Metcon and HIIT Bootcamp

Group Fitness OUTSIDE is a huge HIIT with members loving the nature-exercise combo!  

 

Still Covid-19 uncertain about being INSIDE during group fitness? 
Want to capitalize on the late-spring weather to exercise OUTSIDE? 
Looking for a dynamic, new group fitness challenge to kickstart your fitness goals? 

ANU SPORT HAS NOT 1 – BUT 2 – GREAT NEW OUTDOOR OFFERINGS EVERY WEEK!
 

MetCon (Metabolic Conditioning) and HIIT Bootcamp

1. MetCon will focus on:  
-    Weighted anaerobic intervals  
-    Dumbbell snatches, kettlebell swings, thrusters, rope slams, run  

2. HIIT Bootcamp (high intensity interval training) features:  
-    Anaerobic / aerobic cardio intervals  
-    Burpees, high knees, sit ups, sprints  

Metcon is suited to those who are looking to get strong, powerful, and fit.  

HIIT Bootcamp is most suitable for those who are looking to get fast, lean, and fit.  

 

WHEN: 

MetCon  - 7am Tuesday and Thursdays 
HIIT Bootcamp – 6pm Monday, Wednesday, and 5:30pm Friday 

 

For your on-campus convenience, ALL classes will be held on Willows Oval, right next to ANU Sport HQ. (NOTE: weather permitting. On occasion, we may still need to relocate a session inside on a rainy or damp day!) 

IMPORTANT NOTE - As always, online bookings can only be made up to 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE of any class. 

Last-minute in reception bookings will only be possible if there are any vacancies in a class.
