Balancing on Mt Stromlo!

As a part of our Get Active program, ANU Sport helped to facilitate a BodyBalance class at Mt Stromlo for the ANU Solar Thermal Group to conclude their off-campus group seminar. It was a much-needed de-stressing session for students (and some staff members) who had a wonderful time during the class, and later concluded the day by watching a beautiful sunset across the hills below Mt Stromlo.

The class was run by our BodyBalance instructor Mags, who is also the EA to the Director Professor Ian Petersen at the ANU Research School of Electrical, Energy and Materials Engineering, and a member of the ANU Solar Thermal Group. We’re lucky to have so many staff members and students at the ANU who are passionate about health and wellbeing.

These classes occur every couple of months and are a treat to be a part of. If you’d like to organise something similar in your hall of residence, workplace or faculty, get in touch with selma [dot] richteratanu-sport [dot] com [dot] au.
