On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, a Special General Meeting was called by the ANU Sport & Recreation Board. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the proposed amendments to the ANU Sport Constitution.

• promote our current and future operations, and support our organisation’s ongoing success and sustainability 

• align with better practice industry standards and facilitate efficient governance processes  

• engage members in a positive, safe, fair, and effective manner and  

• comply with current legislative requirements.  

Proposed Constitution 
Drawing on feedback from consultation sessions with the community, ANU Sport has drafted proposed changes to the Constitution based on better practice industry standards and the Associations Incorporation Act Model Rules. The proposed changes have been reviewed by an external law firm to ensure the drafting complies with legislative requirements.
