From February 16th-20th ANU Sport will be hosting a range of free events for you to get involved in. Learn all about our sport and wellbeing services!

WHATS ON

Fem/Non-Binary Workshop:
In this workshop new students can learn personalised tips and tricks for everything from proper form to building a routine that works for you. This is a supportive, inclusive space where you can feel comfortable and empowered as you build your fitness knowledge.

We’ll take you to Level 3, a private workout space, where you’ll get hands-on experience with our gym equipment and expert guidance from our trainers. Whether you’re new to the gym or just looking to refresh your technique, this workshop will help you feel at ease and ready to make the most of your fitness journey.

Come along, meet new friends, and leave feeling stronger, more knowledgeable, and ready to take on any workout challenge! Don’t forget your activewear, water bottle and towel.

Come 'n' Try Day: 

Looking for a fun way to break up your day? Join us for ANU Sport's Come ‘N’ Try event, where you and your friends can try out a variety of exciting racquet sports like pickleball, table tennis, and badminton! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, this is the perfect chance to have some fun, switch on your competitive side, and maybe discover a new sport to love.

Grab your activewear, trainers, water bottle and get ready for an action-packed session that’s all about having a good time while staying active. Don’t miss out—bring your friends, and let’s make it a day of friendly competition and new experiences!

ANU Sport Tour:
"Ready to level up your fitness game? 💪 Join us on the ANU Sport Tour during O Week and explore all the services and facilities that we offer here at ANU Sport. We have two spacious sports halls, perfect for racket sports, volleyball, netball, basketball, you name it we have it. Yes, we even have a rock-climbing wall!

On this tour you'll also get to see our fully equipped Fitness Training Studio, private training spaces and group fitness studios. This a great chance for students to learn how to make the most of their gym memberships.

Gym Beginner's guide:
New to the gym? No problem! Join us for the Gym Beginner’s Guide. This is designed specifically for new students who want to get comfortable and confident in the gym. Whether you’ve never stepped foot in a gym before or just want a refresher, this session is the perfect introduction. Meet our excellent personal trainers who will run you through some effective warm-ups, workouts and cool downs.

This is a relaxed, supportive environment where you can learn, ask questions, and get the basics down so you can take full advantage of your gym membership with confidence! Don’t forget your activewear, water bottle and towel.

Free Group Fitness Classes:
We're treating you to 3 FREE Group Fitness Classes each day from February 16th -20th, with a variety of classes to choose from:
