Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I don't have a team, can I still join?

ANU Sport staff will assist where possible to fill teams with extra players.

Please email the ANU Sport Intern Keira for assistance via email at sport.intern@anu-sport.com

Q. One of my players is sick/injured/studying, can I get a replacement?

Yes, teams can have fill-in players participate. If your team regularly needs more players ask the ANU Sport Intern Keira for assistance via email at sport.intern@anu-sport.com.au

Q. When do games start?

All games will begin promptly at ten (10) minutes past the hour.

There are usually two time-slots - one at 12:10PM and one at 1:10PM.

Games finish 45 minutes after commencement at 12:55PM and 1:55PM.

But check your individual competition rules for confirmation if they are the correct times for your sport.

Q. How long do games run for?

Games run for 2 x 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime break.

Q. Are there competitions divisions?

Depending on the number of teams registering and level of competition, competitions can have 2 divisions.

In this case, the first 2 weeks of competition will be used as grading rounds to determine the competition structure.

Q. Can my team request a preferred timeslot?

When putting the draws together ANU Sport will try to accommodate preferred game time, however, teams may be required to play at both times throughout the season.
