Performance Coaching Series 

Back in 2016!

 

The ANU Sport Performance Series is returning in October 2016. This program will include individual 7 week courses targeting specific outcomes in the development of Strength, Power and Metabolic Conditioning to take you to the next level. All sessions will be run in Level 3 & Mezzanine areas by highly qualified strength and conditioning coaches. These courses will utilise various training implements and session design to keep participants engaged, challenged and working to their peak.

 

Who does this suit?

- Athletes looking to improve specific performance traits

- Members looking to optimise their training sessions and results

- Sporting clubs/teams looking to perform an extra session

Performance Series - Power 

 

  • Improve explosive movements
  • Improve plyometric performances
  • Improve horizontal and vertical jump
  • Develop power using sleds and prowler
  • Introduction to Olympic lifting components
  • Transfer strength to power 

Course limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

Students: $30 for 7 sessions

ANU Sport Members: $50 for 7 sessions

General Public: $70 for 7 sessions

 

 

Performance Series - Metabolic Conditioning  

  • Increase aerobic and anaerobic work capacity
  • Improve fat loss
  • Improve recovery times following exercise
  • Increase strength and power
  • Increase fitness using functional movements
  • Includes use of prowlers, sled and kettle bells

Course limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

Students: $30 for 7 sessions

ANU Sport Members: $50 for 7 sessions

General Public: $70 for 7 sessions

 

 

Performance Series - Strength 

  • Improve technique in compound exercises (Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Press, Military Press, Bent Over Row etc.)
  • Increase muscular strength and power
  • Increase lean muscle mass to aid in fat loss
  • Reduce the chance of injuries when practising your sport
  • Improve recovery times between training sessions

Course limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

Students: $30 for 7 sessions

ANU Sport Members: $50 for 7 sessions

General Public: $70 for 7 sessions
