Relay 4 Relief

GET INVOLVED: Sign up for the Relay 4 Relief.

The ANU Interhall Council of Presidents, along with ANU Sport and The Regional, Rural and Remote Society (RRRS) is proud to be facilitating the Relay 4 Relief charity fundraiser.

Following the recent bushfires that have affected many families, students and friends of the ANU and across Australia, this event is an opportunity for the student community to rally together and support those in need.

Each relay team will consist of roughly 30-50 people and will be required to run a 100m length, 50 times.

Each residential hall wishing to take part will be submitting a team, and the IHC will be facilitating up to two open teams for students and staff wishing to participate as well.

To be a part of a team, every participant will be asked to make a $5 donation to the RRRS Bank Account with each team asked to nominate a charity on whose behalf they will run.

The IHC will allocate 50% of the proceeds to the winning team’s chosen charity, 30% to the second team’s charity and 20% to the third-placed team’s charity,

In addition, each participant will go into the draw to win one of three great prizes being offered by ANU Sport. Just by taking part you could win one of

2 x 10 Class Pack Pass or an Owls Merch Pack Prize (Shirt, Shorts & Hoodie)!

What’s more, there will also be a fundraising BBQ for runners and spectators to refuel and live music to accompany the run. Donation buckets will also be making their way around the event. All proceeds from the BBQ and donation buckets at the event will go towards the Salvation Army Bushfire appeal.
