ANU Sport COVID-19 13Mar2020

LATEST NEWS: ANU Sport response to COVID-19.

ANU Sport is following the advice provided by the University and are constantly monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19.

The University Action Plan follows the advice from the World Health Organisation, the Australian Government Department of Health and ACT Health to ensure our campus community remains healthy and safe.

Our staff are regularly monitoring and cleaning the facility and fitness centre to reduce the chances of exposure and infection, but also ask our patrons to support us in these efforts through the following ways:

  • Use a towel when exercising in the facility and fitness centre;
  • Wipe down any equipment before and after use;
  • Wash hands before and after using the facilities and fitness centre;
  • Please stay home if you are feeling unwell and report any incidents of exposure or self-isolation to ANU Sport.

If you are concerned you have been exposed to the virus, we ask that you report this immediately to your health practitioner as appropriate and self-isolate as directed by health professionals.

Please also ensure that you report any possible exposure and / or confirmation of infection to sportatanu-sport [dot] com [dot] au (ANU Sport staff). Once this has been reported, we will ensure this is communicated to the University through the appropriate channels. Our aim will be to maintain operations as normal but will follow any advice provided by the University if circumstances change.
