We are currently hiring for the following roles:

Blues Squad Ambassador (Casual)

Les Mills Group Fitness Instructors (Casual)

Blues Squad Ambassador (Casual)

ANU Sport is looking for energetic, charismatic and awesome Blue Squad Ambassadors to help deliver our 2020 O-Week program - if you're a passionate and excitable person with the ability to speak to anyone and everyone, we are seeking you to join our team! Blue Squad Ambassadors will be attending and promoting a variety of O-Week events (between the 17 and 21 of February) showering the ANU campus in merch, running giveaways, and helping the campus community to learn about the awesome programs and services that ANU Sport offers.

This role is primarily about outreach and liaising with a diverse body of student and staff. Our Ambassadors will need to be comfortable leading conversations, making connections with people from different background, and have bottomless energy to maintain an enthusiastic attitude with everyone you meet. You don't necessarily need to be sporty or athletic, but knowledge of campus and its geography and a general positive attitude towards health, fitness and well-being are preferred. The most important attribute is a willingness to give something new a go! Don't worry, we'll brief you on what's new at ANU Sport in 2020 so that you have plenty to talk about.

This paid role will be reporting to the Sport Coordinator - Marketing, Events and Communications, and Ambassadors will be required to work between 6-15 hours during O-Week (there will be an opportunity to supply your availability during O-Week as we know you're busy). Also, for the right Squad members, work during promotional activities and events throughout the year may also be available. You'll received some cool ANU Sport branded merch to keep, gain some valuable experience and probably a new profile picture or two. Pending performance, references can also be supplied at the conclusion of the week on request.

Our Culture:

At ANU Sport we have a strong focus on bringing out the best in people, both our students and our staff. This is reflected in our commitment to professional development and a core belief that supporting all team members to grow in their role benefits the entire organisation.

We pride ourselves on our culture of respect, integrity, commitment, team work and innovation - through these we deliver for our community.

Do you want to join a dynamic and vibrant team, with a shared focus of delivering great opportunities for our students and the wider community?  Do you believe in the greater benefits of leading an active lifestyle?  This could be the role for you.

How to Apply:

If you think this position sounds like you, to apply, please write a cover letter (no wore than 500 words) describing why you think you've got what it take to join the Blues Squad in 2020 (hint: address the criteria in the paragraphs above) and send it along with your current CV to Jobsatanu-sport [dot] com [dot] au. Make sure you include "Blues Squad Ambassador Application" as the subject line of your email application.
